🎄 Writing Assignment #1: “The Christmas Gift That Didn’t Cost a Dime”
Write a personal narrative or fictional story about a Christmas gift that didn’t cost any money, but ended up being the most meaningful gift someone received.
Your story should include:
A main character who wants to give a gift but has no money.
A creative solution (a handmade item, a kind act, a promise, a shared moment, etc.).
A conflict or problem that makes giving the gift tricky.
A moment of reflection where the character realizes why the gift matters.
A warm ending (can be sweet, funny, thoughtful, or slightly chaotic—your choice).
At least one strong descriptive paragraph using sensory details.
At least one example of figurative language (simile, metaphor, personification).
Fun Christmas Writing Assignment #2: “The Night Something Went Hilariously Wrong at the North Pole”
A light, humorous creative writing prompt with energy and imagination.
Write a short story (1–2 pages) titled:
“The Night Something Went Hilariously Wrong at the North Pole”
Your story must include all of the following elements:
A minor disaster (funny, not dangerous)
